Digital Library

Sitting at home has taken away the joyous time of a student going to library and reading a book. SOS Hermann Gmeiner School is proud to be one of the Schools in Faridabad to have its Digital Library way before virtual teaching took over thus making learning easy and enjoyable. It can be accessed from anywhere and at anytime by students, teachers and parents.

Children dependence on visual learning is increasing day by day in this era of communication and changing the way they read because of the developments in digital technologies. It helps to understand the concepts of different subjects with the help of Visualizations. Availability of Text Books, Tutorials, videos, Audio Lessons in Digital Formats is reforming entire education system in India. Digital library also help in recording valuable data such as how long students have been reading, what level they are at, and how well they understand the material. Librarians can then monitor, analyze, and make recommendations based on real-time insights into students and their reading.

Each student and teachers has their unique login id and password to login into digital library where they have different options to choose from. For example- learning resource containing e books, various articles, question banks, audio and Motivational Videos, assignments for classes 10th and 12th. Other options available are experiments and activities videos, knowledge section e books, news and events. At present, the Digital Library consists of approx. 15735 e-books. Digital library also connects the readers to Britannica learning containing very useful 136 e-books on various subjects.
